I kinda agree. A lot of cultures have this "high context" bullshit where you can be incredibly vague and ambiguous and it's OK. You can do it in English too, but only if you're Indian (because they're also "high context"). See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High-context_and_low-context_cultures#Language

What it really means is that you can be vague as fuck and it won't matter. Because in these cultures if you're high status no-one will question you being vague, and if you're not high status no-one will care what you're trying to say.
