Who the hell approves Op-Eds in this newspapers? I thought they were supposed to be a place for intellectuals to voice their opinions but lately the Op-Ed in both the NYT and WaPo has become the Controversial Retard Weekly section.
The EIC and the Editorial Board are ultimately responsible for who writes editorials and their content. I think that several larger outlets (those two included) have recently separated their online and print editorial departments with the expected results -- Maureen Dowd writes about the changing dynamics of international literary critique in the paper and xXxGaymurGrilxXx writes about how Fortnite's newest skin is literally rape online.
