I'm down for Marvel drama, but man...150 subscribers complaining and only one guy defending them is pretty paltry. Marvel fans are happy with their movies (almost exclusively so among fandoms), so the haters aren't going to turn up on peoples' radars. However, I think there's huge potential for drama in pitting them against Star Wars fans.
Kevin Feige is an actual white male comic book nerd turned producer. He's been able to take B and C-list characters and build it into the most profitable movie franchise in history in under 10 years.
This can be contrasted with Kathleen Kennedy, a powerful and successful female producer who has taken the most beloved movie franchise and run it into the ground in under 3 years.
There was a post a few days ago wanting more SW drama and the responses were that SW drama has stalled as fans and haters keep repeating their defenses of criticisms of TLJ. Some people liked it, some people hated it. Let it go. Focus on the differing trajectories of these two franchises (which were both acquired for $4B). Opinions of movies are subjective. Box office receipts are not.
