Oh yeah, that's the good shit. That's what I need.

Ah, so you're butthurt. Got it. GG.

OP shoulda just went full snark like the rest of legal advice, smh

You should unban him and ban him again just for giggles.

r/iamverybadass would love to see some of these

Just read the whole thread and you're incorrect with your legal opinion. You're going to be evicted if you refuse to pay your rent, period.

With that said, you posted asking for advice in a legal advice forum and then got angry and combative when real layers told you that you were wrong. Why did you even post if you know more than every single lawyer that took the time to respond?

Finally....

Enjoy your report to the Reddit administrators for your harassing behavior! :)

I WILL see to it you're banned.

He called you an idiot, which you are.... The definition of harassment requires repeated instances of unwanted contact. Being called an idiot a single time is not harassment. He's simply telling you that you have the intelligence of a goldfish with a learning disability. He's not getting banned. Get a grip and go pay your rent.

Curious.

Curious about what?

(Thanks for the alert on the spelling mistake, corrected. Thanks iPhone.)

real lawyers lul. you mean 1st year law students

Where is this supposed subreddit with real lawyers? Can't be legaladvice, they're mostly cops who dabble in bird law and other lawyerings.

Lmao they’re mainly law students and enthusiasts. Very few lawyers have time to be on reddit.

You wanted someone banned over calling you an idiot and you come to /r/Drama to bitch about it?

A time-honoured tradition.

if you already knew the answer and are so much smarter than the posters there, why did you post there in the first place asking for advice?

dipshit.

Reports for all abusive accounts have been forwarded to admins of Reddit, these kids don't realize they fucked up lmao.

Troll better next time.

I don't think he could troll better next time if he tried. This is truly one of the best I've seen.

What does continuing to live there without paying rent look like to you?

It's not me refusing to pay, it's them refusing to accept.

Can I get you to follow up on this line of thinking here: What does continuing to live there with "them refusing to accept" look like to you?

Oh no.... It's retarded.

OMG, don't tell me THEY DUN GOOFED!

I bet the consequences will never be the same.

Weak troll, m’man.

Ug, obvious troll is obvious.

Imagine being so poor you can't afford a check 😂

Imagine living in a country where cheques are still a thing. Seriously, I think the last one I wrote was circa 2004 or something.

He doesn't even need to have checks. Banks here offer online bill pay and the account holder doesn't even need to know if they're sending it electronically or issuing a paper check. It will happen every month and he can forget about it. He says it costs money, to which my only response would be change banks. I've never had to pay for that service.

Nope sorry you were in the wrong here

I'm sorry you got banned. You were such a fucking idiot that it made my night.

(Bank draft is a type of check, and probably more expensive than an ordinary check. It's similar to a cashier's check insofar as banks will honor it without verifying the funds. Also, in all cases like this, you pay the rent by some other means, and then try to recover any excess costs from the other party. Most defenses to eviction -- even for breach of contract -- are void if you're behind in rent, for any reason).

But hey, you do it your way.
