The point of what I was saying is that most isekai have the protagonist be some sort of superhuman Chad Thundercock figure with no real obstacles. In the works I've mentioned, this is heavily subverted. Subaru has only very minor Yin magic and Return By Death (which is not pleasant to go through), Naofumi has a socially ostracized weirdo who, barring limited, debilitating circumstances, cannot fight back and Ainz is powerful, yet has to keep up appearances of being an evil overlord when his servants see him as a literal god. They all have clear, visible goals and personalities rather than just dicking around and gathering a harem.
Isekais have reached the point where no amount of gimmicks can redeem them, imo. Konosuba is alright just because it's funny and the story isn't meant to be taken seriously. I might enjoy some of the higher quality ones individually, but I've already tried to read several of every possible iteration so it's impossible now.
Perhaps it's simply time to take a break from them. It's pretty much impossible to make or find a story which has no tropes, so your tolerance will rise no matter what you do.
