Lots of whites are moving to other areas in Brooklyn where rent is cheaper because the L train is going to be under construction for a long time and luxury condos basically priced them out of Williamsburg.
They’re now moving to neighborhoods with a large urban population that have lived there for years, so it’s kind of a tense moment because it feels as if they’re encroaching on your way of living. As this happens the demographic changes and the rent is increasing and you’re almost a stranger in your own neighborhood.
Why is that some people think they have some rights beyond those granted to an average citizen?
