There are several popular licenses used online to grant others permission to use your code. MIT and Apache are two of the most common ones, they pretty much just disclaim copyright. GPL is another popular one, it's more restrictive, it says that the code can't be packaged into closed source proprietary software.
I forgot. Personally I always used MIT just cus it seemed like that's what everyone else on github was using. I wish someone would steal something I wrote but I'm a shit programmer and I doubt that will ever be the case.
Tbh I only have one open source project available right now, a weird ass experimental voting system based on range voting and data clustering algorithms. Might as well though.
This might be the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen in my life. I hope this goes to court one day so that it becomes only the second most embarrassing thing I have seen.

1 DerekSavageCoolCuck 2018-08-29
It's not MIT's fault, he just based his retarded license off the existing MIT one.

We need an actual cypherpunk license. Any open source project not lead by cypherpunk ideology should be abandoned.

Kind of like the anyone-but-Stallman license I've seen.

You should mention BSD too, it's basically the same as MIT in terms of permissiveness.

He's soon going to find out he's unable to prove someone's a fascist in court.

Or find that California doesn't allow discrimination based on political affiliation.

Only in employment
