Recently, a new automod feature was introduced on r/darkjokes . Whenever a post had "black" in the title, automod would lock the post and say "locked to keep white people from posting". This caused massive upproar and unsubbing. This isnt the first time thid has happened, a few months ago, automod would delete comments with pg swearwords, such as "frick" or "heck".
This happened due to the sub introducing new mods and one of them creating this monstrosity. Nobody knows the person responsible.
Both scrooge (i dont know their full u/) and u/Thatoneguysthatwierd has had their moderator status revoked due to them disagreeing with the new feature.
Thats all I know at least, i may be wrong. Who knows.
