it's not just about how long it takes but what the game promises. cyberpunk at least so far isn't promising anything groundbreaking, just shiny graphics and lots of NPCs.
meanwhile the indie star citizen devs are over here promising that you can own networked multiplayer 20,000$ massive space freighters that will probably be gigabytes in size. imagine dealing with that shit, EVE Online barely manages big spaceship battles with huge turn-based time delays, and you cant even 'pilot' your ship or get out of it and walk around which star citizen also claims.
