I think it's cause, when boiled down to the simplest terms, your reasoning comes down to 3 statements: This person looks like they are underage. I am attracted to them. BUT they are not actually underaged, my attraction is justified.
The proclaimed attraction comes first which is what's kinda giving off the pedo vibes
