I don't know if you were being ironic OP but r/occult is really shitty. That post is complete AIDS and there are tons of others that are just horrible homemade amulets and not any actual interesting discussion.
100% this. I guess I'm the reason why /u/pitterpatterwater linked this post to r/drama but the complete denial of the most basic reality there is astonishing sometimes. And I say this as a firm believer, but it's a personal experience first and foremost, and it's in the nature of the thing that you cannot explain it to someone else. Just gotta have to trust the guy or think he's a hack, and experience it for yourself.

Yeah. It's not like it's an elite either, just look at the other neckbeard (with an interesting post history on waifus and the redpill on the side) with his self-important speech who's like US who study Goetia, like he's part of some secret society who has seen the matrix grid. Actually the sub is pretty divided between the two kinds, I needed to vent it and it makes me realize I'm pretty new on the whole occult internet scene (that's kinda why I suscribed to the dedicated sub). If you'd have interesting corners or subs to advise me in pm I'd be quite happy to know them !
I've read and practiced a lot in my corner, but I have yet to really share it with others. Lots of things I don't and can't really get without a shared experience.

UPDATE: Two people were involved in reporting DHS on my wife and I. My wife is sick and doesn’t need the extra stress, especially while I’m traveling for work. These people maliciously reported to DHS, spread rumors that I had left my sick wife, and that they were going to adopt my children. As of right now one of these people has lost their job.
