Since we are all somewhat bored especially of the left - right wing daily bs.

Let me write you the story of what happened last week in my favorite subreddit . /r/WorldOfWarships .

Here is the setup.

World of Warships ( aka WoWs) is a "shooter" free to play game by WarGaming ( aka WG). In this game you drive around in make believe WW1-WW2 boats in teams of 12 and shoot other R-tards in make believe boats.

Now as for basically any game these days there are streamers which are popular with the games community.

For World of Warships. The most popular Streamer right now is a super unicum called Flamu. You might ask what a super unicum is. Since wows is mostly based on 12 v 12 random pvp battles without skill brackets players can determine skill level by win rate (aka WR). Most people sit around 50% wins. A unicum is a person who is so good that they win more then 57% of their games. A super unicum wins more then 65% of their games. Here are flamus European server stats:

You can find Flamus stream here : https://www.twitch.tv/flamuu Now Flamu has a big following within the community as he streams almost daily and does a ton of guides. However he and his community cause a lot of SALT as they shit talk Potatoes aka bad players and make fun of them.

Now for the record Flamu is an official "Community Contributor" (aka CC). Which means he gets free stuff and developer access from WG.

Now last week a "concerned player" posted to complain about the "Toxic" Flamu , his fans and elitism in the community. (sorted by controversial of course).

You're gonna get downvoted to hell but I agree with you. It doens't matter how useful someone may be to the community if they're also a toxic person.

The following day someone tried to open things up a little. (this thread again sorted by controversial , not as much salt but part of the convo)

So on the third day I tried to suggest that " Hey maybe retarded players were retarded" . ( less salt then i had hoped for)

That evening an ex CC who had fallen on his sword last year over a ship being too OP. Made a video criticizing Flamu and his fans with choice anger filled lines like: " Flamu isn't ShipJesus." The trigger was apparantly another CC "Notser" being made fun of in the first thread against Flamu.

To which Flamu responded by renaming his north american account to ShipJesus causing more drama:

WG then re-renamed his NA account a day later over concerns for the feelings of christian americans (wont link thread as its sorta boring.)

The whole situation somewhat end in this following thread started by another North American CC with a message of you do you. Still some drama here.

So that was last weeks saga of Flamu the King of Potatoes.
