Like, there's a disproportionate percentage of the pedophile population (I.e. Attracted to prepubescent children) that just so happen to be homosexual.
How come ephebophiles are not usually homosexual? What makes the process of puberty change the sexual orientation of people with mental diseases?
Also speaking of mental diseases, should homosexuality be regarded as one?

So you're referring to non-pedophiles then, and the reason they are disproportionately relative to general society molesting/raping boys is because they don't care about the gender and they just want to use someone to rub their dick on or to "destroy" the innocence of and dominate. They don't care about how the child looks nor do they fall in love with the child.
It's as much as one as pedophilia is, so just with pedophilia, conditionally yes but typically no.
Because 15-19yo males are less easily abused or innocent and it would make abuse of them harder for these teliophile child abusers.
If by this you mean why do people who like kids below puberty more often than general society are into boys, I cannot say if that's because general society is more unaccepting and closeted about their desires, or because children, particularly toddlers and babies, have less physical differences than adults/teens do between the genders, but more-so a pedophiles attraction is generally primarily romantic/emotional, and if a pedophile is into general "boy activities" they'll be more inclined to fall in love with a boy, and thus be sexually attracted to them, than teens/adults as generally teliophiles and ephebophiles are more sexual-focused than actual pedophiles and there's more difference in personality types as people age and develop their own nasty blend of experiences over the years.
It's not significant though, it's not the ridiculous shit you hear, at least not male-male wise...female pedos are disproportionately into little girls though. They're just cuter I guess.
