It is impossible to be a "gnostic theist" or a "gnostic atheist" because there is absolutely no confirmation on whether or not God exists. Christfags know this. That's why they don't claim to base their beliefs on faith. In order to be an atheist, you must reject the notion of theism. In order to be a theist, you must accept the notion that a deity exists, regardless of whether or not you can prove it. The only reason why atheists use this argument is to throw the more "radical" members of the group that say the exact same bullshit they were spouting five minutes ago under the bus, or else try to pass them off as "anti-theist," which is either the notion that god doesn't exist or that religion is harmful, depending on what's more convenient.
