Comment that self-control, and over-eating are the problem, not fast food, and SRD will throw a fit out of nowhere. Hmmmm

Give them a break, it's hard to reason through all that fat.

Fast Food, e.g. McDonalds shouldn't be a regular part of your diet. Reasons: It's very calorie dense making it easy to eat too much of it while not feeling full, it has "bad" macros, mostly fat, not that much protein, only simple carbs which will spike your blood sugar and probably make you more hungry. Also contains lots of salt. Like it's fine to have it occassionally but that's it.

Also I don't get why people don't make their own sandwiches and take them with them. It's cheaper and it doesn't even take as long as going to a McD, ordering the food and waiting until they've prepared it.

If the only thing stopping a person from over eating is your stick is physically too full to contain more food, they probably post on SRD

2 or 3 grilled chicken wraps is a great post workout meal.

I don't because you have to keep up with a whole bunch of ingredients and keep going to the store and I know it's not hard but it's even easier to go to the fastfoodery and sit there like a lump of fat until they give you your burger since it takes no planning and no regular maintenance

I guess if you're into cold sandwiches.

I used to do that for lunch at work, but I just couldn't keep it up for more than a few weeks. It's so incredibly dull to me.

I usually just cooked large portions for dinner, saved some, and would bring leftovers in for lunch the next day. Microwaved leftovers >>> cold sandwiches imo.

You need a harder bread like a roll that won't get soggy so fast. Also, you can store tomato and other wet ingredients in a separate tupperware and put it on right before eating.

To put this more in perspective you could probably live off pizza if you counted calories but you are in no way healthy off a diet of pizza.

It's good for people wanting to lose weight to find diets they can stick to for life and not just temporarily so it's fine to eat it once in awhile and watch how much you eat but you'd feel like garbage if you lived off McDonald's c'mon.

When I was growing up, going to McDonald's was considered like going to the movies. Also, the food was way higher in quality. It actually tasted good, now it tastes like slop.

has "bad" macros

Like C, rather than Rust?

Anyone who says this is out of touch rich mayonaisse many places other food is expensive or too time intensive to get.

Strange how debates can happen over things that have been scientifically proven / researched. Fast food is advertised as, and intended, to only be even very occasionally.

it’s a vicious cycle. fast food is extremely conducive to poor self-control and overeating, and vice-versa

gets downvotes for trying to argue that McDonald's is healthy

waaaa srd baaaaaad

Nice. When you point the finger to the fatties they shriek. BUT WHAT ABOUT SMOKEY HERE? bitch, take a seat on a reinforced chair; nobody is flaying their hands clapping at the smokers.
