Borderlands is a fuck-awful piece of garbage and the only thing that makes me want to kill myself more than the gameplay is the writing. Borderlands 3 not happening is the best possible outcome of this.
Agree re: Borderlands 1, disagree as to Borderlands 2. It is a loot farming game which I continue to enjoy and cannot find a superior loot and shoot that is fun to play with friends.

my favorite thing is the sophisticated humor, too. the first time i saw the in-game port-a-potties with "NO FAPPING" on them, i knew i was playing a super smart and witty game.

Why the fuck didn't they cut the parasite loose immediately after discovering he was making personal charges on their accounts? It sounds like they lost most of that three million because they basically let him financially cuckhold them with a long string of excuses and empty promises.
It seems like it took them considerable time to actually notice hundreds of thousands of dollars going missing from their accounts. They should have been on him from the first fraudulent charge.
Also how did he get bail after skipping out on bail multiple times before?
My guess is the guy probably killed himself because he realized this was it for him. Too much money, too much police attention, looking at decades in jail with no prospects if he ever gets out.
