For anyone reading this, archive.is is probably the highest trafficked archiving site on reddit, and only receives few donations per week (and definitely not enough to run on donations alone). The thing about the Paris Climate Accord is that itโs absolutely logical for it to be biased against the US. It makes perfect sense for runner-up countries to band together to knock the hegemon country down a peg, and that is a much written-about, well-attested part of hegemony theory in international politics. Itโs so stupid for people to act like Americans are paranoid for being concerned about getting short shrift from the deal. If, like, Estonia or some other little shit were claiming they were unfairly imposed upon, that would be paranoia, but itโs baffling to me that people truly think that in a world in which America is still the most powerful country, and in which there are many people who openly despise America, other countries might not be interested in Americaโs best interest in the realm of international agreements.
