The best way to explain it would probably be to just link to the original call-out thread, but the TL;DR is that a couple of weeks ago, a furry youtuber with >100k subscribers was exposed alongside a ring of about 20-30 other furries as a literal puppy and roadkill fucker. Basically the entire fandom tried to either keep this under wraps or defend him, going as far as to falsify police reports which apparently claimed he was innocent and his account was just "hacked". It's still ongoing.
