This is the comment in question that compares Amy Schumer to Rosa Parks. This has clearly been taken out of context, the comment isn't comparing Schumer to civil rights leaders in terms of her social impact or moral authority. It's simply pointing out the similarity in the manner of her arrest, and emphasizing that this is how peaceful protests work.
Personally, I am not a fan of Amy Schumer's comedy, but she has every right to participate in peaceful protests. Moreover, I think it does good when celebrities involve themselves in politics, she doesn't have to be the equivalent MLK or Rosa Parks (which no one is claiming) to add her voice to the political fray.

Good point! I think that was certainly the case with Rosa Parks and many other arrests in the Civil Rights movement. However, proponents of peaceful protests absolutely emphasize not resisting arrest see ACLU's recommendation's for protesting https://www.aclu.org/know-your-rights/demonstrations-and-protests.
My main point is just that this post is trying to demonize Two-X chromosomes for "unironically comparing" Amy Schumer to Rosa Parks, and many of the comments seem to take that as Two-X hyping up Amy Schumer as a social hero, which if you look at the original post is certainly not the case. This whole post is essentially based on one out-of-context comment.

It's infuriating when these people compare themselves to the civil rights movement. Rosa Parks didn't get arrested because she was whiny and wanted attention. She did to achieve concrete results as part of a systematic plan to dismantle segregation. I don't see many protestors these days who actually are trying to accomplish something like that.
