I am, too. I've been posting a lot about this today, but I honestly do not know wtf to do. Three weeks ago I almost attempted suicide because the current social/political climate is so triggering and re-traumatizing (macro and micro). While I am no longer in that space, and am in the process of getting appropriate mental health care, I am at a complete fucking loss as to how to move forward in my life. On the one hand, I am seething with uncontrollable rage at our so called elected officials who are so desperate to cling to power by any means necessary that they will trample on half the population and I want to burn everything to the ground (metaphorically, not literally, although I am sorely tempted to fedex boxes of dead rats and dog shit to every Yes voter in the Senate).

On the other hand, I am tired exhausted existentially spent. My husband (the first person to EVER say "I believe you and I'm sorry and I'm here" and the only one who can be counted on to do so consistently) has been suggesting we move off the grid and just give Western "Civilization" the middle finger. I have to say I'm sorely tempted, but it also feels selfish to do so. Then again, after the upbringing I've had (wherein after puberty my mother decided she was sick of fucking my father so she made me do it instead, among other things) any type of self-care at all feels selfish.
