Vintage drama - The Final Fantasy house
1 2018-10-12 by hotwifesnearyou
Let's take a small break from the current oh-so-prevalent white people shenanigans and enjoy some well-aged drama from the early 2000s, when the 'net was still about things that mattered. Things like edgy myspace sites, eldritch furry sex acts and a bunch of socially maladjusted teenage nerds falling prey to a ret*rded otherkin cult in which everyone is a Final Fantasy 7 character.
Ah how I miss those simpler times.

I was shooting heroin and reading “The Fountainhead” in the front seat of my privately owned police cruiser when a call came in. I put a quarter in the radio to activate it. It was the chief. “Bad news, detective. We got a situation.” “What? Is the mayor trying to ban trans fats again?” “Worse. Somebody just stole four hundred and forty-seven million dollars’ worth of bitcoins.” The heroin needle practically fell out of my arm.

Good post, Snally would be proud.
Anyways, how do you even become interested in this sort of stuff? Like how do people become part of these groups?

The FF cult? If you want a snarky answer it's because autism is contagious. On a more serious note, you should read those accounts with this in mind. Additionally note how everyone suckered into that disaster is a teenager with low self-esteem that is quick to accept rules because they want to be polite (for example buying things for their host).

Thank you for this gift.
Crazy internet niches are my favorite.
This is up there with Loki Wives and Digimon Truthers.

This is how I discovered it. Really nice consolidation of a bunch of craziness ranging from amusing to horrific. It goes with a podcast too!

Please remember the Prime Directive. They’re more interesting when they aren’t cagey and defensive.

Digimon Truthers?
You might be interested in the Sarah Saga, Andy Thanfiction/the LoTR cult, Tsundere Bitch Club, The Deviantart Sonicide, and the stories of the various wives of Sephiroth. Unfortunately good stories like these are uncommon tho.

The original leader of the FFVII cult may still be active, but the person making these claims is absolutely batshit insane.

Like always, everyone involved is an off-the-rails drama fountain. How great, isn't it?

I knew I had read this drama earlier. Should have known it was your very own post where I came across it.
