I wish I was an NPC tbh

- your role is hardcoded, maximum job security and a stable future

- no agency so you can never make a bad decision or have responsibilities

- sure players can kill you, but on the next quickload or new game youre alive again

- plot essential npcs are usually even immortal

how can playcels compete with this

First of all, I take it as granted that we're living in a simulation.

There was a recent article on some quantum nerd shit that supposedly rendered simulation theory impossible, because of some necessary calculation. I think those fucking nerds are destroying the fabric of space-time-consciousness.

The very act of searching for the root of existence has forced the simulation in on itself, running insanely large calculations that it was perhaps not designed to do. What does this mean for us? It means the simulation's computing resources are becoming more and more puddled around the nerds.

As a side note, let's remember the climate change that so called "scientists" are so upset about is the result of technology invented by so called "scientists" who were only saving their world!

So what I'm saying is gas the scientists and burn the books.

Tbh if we are in a simulation that's just pushes the "wtf is all this shit" questions one layer up, doesn't really answer shit

Yeah, I never really care past that point. Like, I don't expect Steve from Minecraft to give a shit about our world, let alone our simulator's world.

playcels

Holy shit I am going to run this into the ground as I roleplay as Chuck Wendig over on that one website.

Yeah but then you'd have to regularly interact with gaymers.

Unironically, sentience is a meme, and is detrimental to the evolution of the species. Here's an award-winning sci-fi book written by a convicted felon if you're ready to take the NPC pill.

Dude NPCs lmao
