In terms of edgy-ness I'm a middle aged overweight computer geek. I think that ship sailed a few decades ago.

The myth of the arrogant atheist is one promoted by the religious, who like to think of us as insufferable know it alls that are "too proud" to admit that their invisible magic sky wizard exists. The reality is likely the reverse of what they think; our lack of belief originates from us knowing more. Which is usually a condition that they themselves could achieve just as easily as we have if only they weren't determined believe things that are clearly ridiculous.
