Don't give me that "homosexuality is a choice" crap.

It is a choice whether a man decides to have anal intercourse with another man or a boy. And that's for the most part what Islam is talking about in this particular area (along with some discussion about men who imitate women and women who imitate men). There is no need for discussing a "cure" for homosexuality since we don't recognize it as a condition in the first place. People have attractions to various things, this doesn't categorize them as one separate group or another and it does not define who they are. What Islam is concerned about is what you actually do, not about some newly invented (and increasingly expanding) categorization of a specific sexual identity. And in terms of actual identity, all that really matters there is your religion.

It depends on the culture; some places it is only considered to be homosexual if you are the receiver.
