If something is being defended literally by some list of people who agree, it is false. Like the gw deniers "list of 700 scientists against global warming". Climate scientists refused to play their dumb game, like literally they could have gotten a list of hundreds of thousands probably. But they did provide a list of "700 scienists named Steve who agree with the consensus on climate change".
