First I am white, but I have a Hispanic first and last name and was always discriminated against as 'Mexican' by kids in school growing up. I got bullied for being different culturally since I didn't speak English when i first went to kindergarten. Including by kids who weren't white. People will discriminate against you for whatever reason they have whatever race you actually are. That is how insults work generally.
