We should not ignore that. They turned down an offer of Asylum, they are now an invading army. They should be treated as such with the full might of our military. I guarantee it would only take one caravan destroyed to discourage any more from coming.

The 1951 convention on refugees does not allow for automatic rejection on grounds that the asylee could have gotten refugee status elsewhere. If you don't like that, change the law, but don't just make a sensible sounding argument and then pretend it's absolutely the law.
