We once went to the moon. We cured diseases. We wrote operas and symphonies. Shakespeare was a thing. Same with the Empire Strikes Back. Now everything is a remix, and this meme, this fucking meme, I don't know why it's the breaking point for me, but it is. One of the first signs of a stagnant and decadent culture is it stops making new art and just repurposed what it already has. Happened to the Romans and now, it appears to be our turn. So yeah, I think a year or two away -at least- might do me some good, cause I am way too invested in this shit.
