It depends. To me, rightoids are transparent about their authoritarian impulses and are very direct and honest about their values and agenda (regardless of how retarded it is). Plus, many of them are simpletons and easy to predict.
Lefties, on the other hand, are less legible and far more manipulative with their agenda pushing. They hide their authoritarian impulses behind highly charged moralistic rhetoric and crybully their way into positions of institutional influence.
TL;DR: Righties are like belligerent, violent shit-flinging monkeys you see out in the jumgle but lefties are like venomous snakes, sneaking through your garden.
