Except Brazil is actually a big part of international politics? Brazil has trade agreements, allies, intergovernmental organizations, treaties, etc. Brazil is indeed very violent (About 60 000 deaths per year) but it's not as if we were a legion of monkeys.

Most western countries are very heavily invested in africa too.. forgot about DeBeers? Only recently china started investing because they want the natural resources. Whatever he does, as long as the investments are fine the western powers will just wag their finger as usual
