I have Iris Chang's book right here in my room. She put a gun to her face and offed herself in 2003(?) Her parents and husband forced her into a psych ward in 2001. Her existence is one of several things that I will carry inside me forever. And here we have Japanese and Korean Stans in hostility on Twitter. Mike Shinoda wrote Kenji and Iris Chang put photographs of severed Chinese heads in her book.

Wait, so have Koreans finally started to realize how they got their independence? They're not just gonna pretend that their "independence fighters" did their own thing and WW2 never happened?

Did Korean nationalistic texts ignore certain things that happened?

I dunno, but I've watched a few dozen k-dramas and I never saw one where it was ever hinted at that America or China might be involved in their independence. I suspect there must be some decision that was made when they adopted the "Sunshine Policy" in the 1990s that WW2 is a topic that's off limits.

Of course no state will tell the full story. It's obvious if text leaves out certain deaths. Both Koreas were colonies of Japan?

taeppista had loads of mindless people saying that the korean tshirt was wrong. They don't care about the history of the rising sun flag.

Do you mean all people born in those countries and children of expatriots?
