Honestly for security probably Microsoft Edge, but for speed Chrome.

For chrome you might look into getting an extension to suspend tabs you're not currently using. Chrome made each tab a separate process and that's really the source of why it's so resource hungry.

Sounds to me like nothing will happen. We had a situation like this happen last month or the month before. Nothing happened. Sounds like the same thing. He said he’ll shoot up the school at 11:00 am. It’s 11:25 as I’m typing this up and nothing has happened.
