For a while it actually looked like GOP might take the House, might just be 538 algorithms being drunk, but damn it got me excited for the potential r/politics spergout.
Democrats only did slightly worse than rational expections, took the house but lost a few senate seats and didn't win some governerhsips they thought that had in the bag. Mixed bag for them all said. But acting like it was a catastrophe is retarded. It seems like their default expectation was the maximalist result where they basically win everything, the senate and all the governorships? Setting themselves up for disappointment.
