Tangentially related, but in Henry County, just south of McDonough and maybe a dozen miles south of Stockbridge is the unincorporated town of Blacksville. That's actually how it shows on the map. It carries that name for obvious historical reasons related to segregation. There's precedent for this particular flavor of white people nonsense, is all I'm saying. I'm not even surprised people tried this with Stockbridge, since I'm sure they were emboldened by the slow wave of gentrification washing down from the Atlanta Metro area proper. Most towns in that county look really different from how they did 20 years ago. Anyway, just my hot take since I know the area. Bunch of mayos butt blasted because the local government represents the large black population. (More than 50% black, less than 30% white, the rest hispanic and asian.)
