I’m always amazed how few people know about Gamergate. It’s not only the key to understanding so many violent harassment campaigns going on today, it’s lots of the same people angry about the same stuff using the same playbook.
I unironically agree that dude is gender neutral, at least in California. That said, I learned quickly in high school that some girls strongly do not like to be called dude. And yes, I know in this case >girl
I use this to my advantage now when gussy is getting too close by calling them bro so they understand where they stand with me
