I’m not denying it doesn’t happen, but to assume all people who wear mascot costumes, or are furries, smoke crack and fuck all day in costume is a massive fallacy.
For non-burgers, Valedictorian is the highest rank in your class and Salutatorian is the second highest.
I am honestly surprised the school would move people up because of that, sounds very insensitive. They could have just awarded the missing kid the Valedictorian spot as a way to remember and respect him, I am sure his family would appreciate that.
