I’m riddled with shame. White shame. This isn’t helpful to me or to anyone, especially people of color. I feel like there is no “me” outside of my white/upper middle class/cisgender identity. I feel like my literal existence hurts people, like I’m always taking up space that should belong to someone else.
I’m not denying it doesn’t happen, but to assume all people who wear mascot costumes, or are furries, smoke crack and fuck all day in costume is a massive fallacy.
The prosecutor said in court that Li Shuyi and Senrinek met at work and then fell in love. The two had been together for about a year, but domestic violence occurred during the period. On September 18 last year, Li Shuyi did not go to work on time, and her friends worried about her safety, so she called the police. After the police broke into the house, Li Shuyi’s body was found in the kitchen and was covered with blankets. The body was also piled with some spices. I believe that after being killed for many times, there were many marks on the head and neck that were hit by sharp weapons. Multiple stab wounds and bruises.
After Li Shuyi was killed, her boyfriend was the most suspected. The police revealed that after Senrinek killed Li Shuyi, she also stole the woman's private car and credit card and drove the vehicle to Dallas, Texas. She also used Li Shuyi's credit card to purchase items. Senrinek then drove to a Veterans Affairs Hospital in Texas for a mental health check and told a security guard to kill his girlfriend and was eventually arrested at the hospital.
