Weeb? Skyrim and elder scrolls are American made video games based on European lore and history. I had too google the weeb word. I actually don’t like anime I just happened to like medieval fantasy genres which is pretty different than what you are suggesting and it was developed in the USA by a USA based studio. Learn what words mean and what about the subjects before you start talking shit you look like a 12 year old little boy btw get the fuck out of here you little cunt

It has to be targeted and intentional, though I doubt twitter mods will actually follow through on that standard.

They can barely stop actual terrorists from using their site so I don't think this policy will be enforced well.

Yeah, can't wait for no TERFS to end up getting banned, while millions of them reee over the unfair censorship.

Terfs are retarded but at least they dont support tranny autism.

Oh ofc, trannies are way more retarded.

implying terf retardation is any different from the trannies screaming about rights

terfs are literally purified radfems that no one likes, no need for a lack of a vagina

Trannies have great trap bussy though. Don't deny bussy is great. Bussy is perfect

Damn, that was quick

It will just be another rule for people to use when report-brigading users they don't like.

Brothers of Islam can still coordinate public stonings, but at least the west will learn to accept fat erect and dripping feminine penises

futa is halal tbh

I just want to meet the attorney who wrote that policy. And if I were to meet them, ask how it felt to seriously, with a straight face, insert “deadnaming” into their work product.

I had to look up that term and fun fact: third post down from my search was a HuffPo article saying deadnaming is violence.

If I had a twitter account, I would just keep calling them "transgendered" cuz they seem to get angry when you use that as a verb. It's not deadnaming or misgendering.

Of course it is. 🙄 heaven help those with skin of ratting paper.

I don't agree that it's violence obviously, but I don't know, how would you even be able to deadname someone unless you were digging into their past, looking for something to hurt them with?

Maybe if they were a celebrity and had a big, dramatic public transformation from Bruce to Caitlyn.

Personally, I'd prefer dadnaming.

Like, “hi Hungry, I’m dad?”

"Hi Dad, I'm Sally now. Probably shouldn't have had so much soy in my diet through childhood."

How much weight can you deadname bro???

Call them "transgenders" for maximum effect

An attorney wouldn't write policy.

Depends. Two of my clients have the firm write policies. It’s annoying as fuck but w/e.

Yes lawyers do write policies. They also often write terms & conditions, terms of use, privacy policy etc as these are legally bound contracts.

Its a lawyer, they don't give a shit as long as they get paid.

Generally I give a shit. My colleagues would roast me if I indulged in feel good bullshit like that.

Then you tell them "im a lawyer for twitter, who gives a fuck". Also lawyers incapable of "giving a shit" , its well known they don't have feelings.

they don’t have feelings

Accuse one of malpractice and get a flamethrower of feelings

Or a flamethrower of "lol so what?"

Lawyers are ideal Drama posters, FYI.

Has PopeHat ever been a mod here?

All I know is he got banned from r/legaladvice

Which is a pretty good qualification for r/drama mod.

Meh, not engaging in circlecumming and providing actual facts is enough to get banned from there.

he got banned from r/legaladvice

Really? That's hilarious.

Pretty fitting though, as the most downvoted person in any thread about the law is usually the one person who corrected stated the applicable legal rule.

r/legaladvice is just a bunch of cops with cop mods.

There was that insane tranny princesscuck who sued everyone in her life and posted drama threads of them begging her to stop lmao

It's true. Feelings are surgically extracted during the 2d day of the bar exam.

I took 2 bar exams and frankly I understand the "puss law student" meme.

Not only are they strict, but the exact type of people who you'd expect fail it hard and audibly,

My year, both people next to me melted-down and walked out mid-test. I was like, "fuck it, more elbow room for these shitty essays about secured interests that I have to write in fucking pencil."

That to me was the worst part. Who the fuck actually *writes* things anymore?

No offense intended, but thank fucking gawd there's still proper ambulance chasers left. It seems like all the white collar professions are being co-opted by progressivism.

No offense intended

Lol, what a fucking tourist.

You ethnic youth love my money.

Better.

Say “dude bussy lmao” once or twice and you’ll make “regular” status

I really only come here on weekends to drink.

not obsessively refreshing the page on this subreddit every five minutes for hours every day

NORMIES OUT REEEEEEEEEE

Dude I'm giving you like the worst fucking review on yelp

fug

Sometimes i forget when I post in SRD that saying bussy and mayocide and so forth are not appreciated things.

I have trouble coming up with other phrases more offensive to me than that one.

And if I were to meet them, ask how it felt to seriously, with a straight face, insert “deadnaming” into their work product.

Yeah real talk but I don't think progressives themselves really have their shit together enough to try to scale up and codify their norms. What they want is some sort of overall respect towards trans/nonbinary people, and they're trying to extract this by banning particular avenues of disrespect - misgendering and deadnaming - but they don't realize that even if they did this people would just come up with new ones, and you just can't play whack-a-mole and ban an ever-growing list of memes / dogwhistles.

and you just can't play whack-a-mole and ban an ever-growing list of memes / dogwhistles.

Turns out that they can. Like the drug war, it's an unwinnable forever war that allows them to look and feel like they're accomplishing something positive against incredible odds.

It's like nobody remembers how the gay agenda took over America. For reference:

  • a significant minority of people are gay
  • a few people in California say "wouldn't it be nice to have rights?"
  • conservatives try to ban gay people
  • literally everybody in America realizes that they personally know gay people who aren't that bad
  • massive outcry, Supreme Court decides that everybody gets to have cake

The trans agenda can't follow because:

  • there aren't enough trans people for everybody in America to know one
  • the trans people who are known are usually not the sane kind
  • it's the trans agenda who are trying to ban things
  • the cake isn't even a lie, nobody claims it exists in the first place

Yeah, one important fact about the gay marriage movement is that it had clear unifying policy goals in mind: Overturning sodomy laws and then enacting civil unions / gay marriage laws. These aims united a lot of people who had different underlying narratives about oppression and the role of the state.

On the other hand, with trans acceptance the policy goals are very vague and there's pretty much one single narrative that's allowed about the nature of the struggle here, so you just get a lot of posturing and infighting because despite the high-pitched screeching the stakes ultimately aren't very high.

The point is to amplify and tell everyone that says trans folks should have dignity that you respect their right to live as their chosen gender.

For the uninitiated, what's deadnaming? I need to know so I can own ze libs.

When someone transitions they'll usually take a new name matching the new gender. Deadnaming is using their old name

Using a tranny's old name instead of their new name.

Wtf why is this dude deleted?

He came in just to post that comment then decided his account no longer needed to exist.

this may just be a good idea. trannies might migrate to twitter, maybe slightly removing their presence from other social sites. i hope, at least.

trannies might migrate to Twitter. It's possible, but statically they're most likely to migrate to the grave.

But that means there's less trussy to enjoy

r/drama is a subreddit that worships boipussy. Wishing for boipussy in any form to die is haram.

But that means you'd have to go to twitter if you want trap bussy. Which is bad. Boipussy should be shared all across the internet.

A lot of fallout is gonna come from the femcel camps because of this, lol

What the hell is 'deadnaming'?

Calling them by the name they used to use, before they transitioned

Can we do something like "the artist formerly known as Prince" or is that also a microaggression or deadnaming or whatever retarded buzzword they've come up with now

calling a spade a spade

The proper term is People of Color.

Eh, I preferred the sequel "People of Color 2: The Quickening."

People change name all the time, you're just being edgy coz it relates to trans people

found le tranny.

No one is saying they can't change their name you cucktopus.

Anyone who changes their name is a faggot.

H2h

I changed my name, fight me manlet.

Maybe I will. What's your new gay Indian name? Dances with AIDS? Heh. 😎

you're just pushing back on this specific group because they're super annoying about it

Yes.

They'd think you're a weirdo, not a criminal.

what?

It's true. Just last week I accidently bumped into someone and told them

'sorry, sir'

'What did you just call me? She asked

'oh, shit, sorry, I didn't realise-' I started to explain, but it was too late. Already the misgendering police had arrived to take me away. Luckily though I live in commie Europe where all the prisons have wifi, as well as personal manservants and jacuzzies

So sad to see terfs on drama, the home of bussy. Oh well. All are welcome here, so long as they drink the same strychnine coolaid as the rest of us when the time comes.

I've never seen a married woman throw a shit fit because someone called her her maiden name.

#Spadenaming

"Hey Jamal!"

telling the truth

It's when you refer to someone by using their name.

Very juicy

lol that's so gay

You'd think that people who spent most of their lives being really confused about their gender would be a bit more understanding when others are similarly confused about which gender they are....

You can't expect introspection and reason from mentally ill people.

Oof

By the way,

expecting introspection and self awareness

from people on the internet

Internet is very slothful.

Did someone mention sloths? Here's a random fact!

A sloths maximum weight is about 40 pounds. Nearly two-thirds of this weight can be contained in the sloth's stomach compartments if it is well fed.

You did good son

Subscribe!

I hate sloths. What did they ever do for drama? Or for anything, really?

They're playing the long game. Just wait, it's going to be spectacular.

Let's be honest, if you're posting on /r/drama something has gone very wrong in your life

gotem

it's

Meh, people chose this when they decided to make a private messaging system a main part of their communication.

Think about it, all thia communication happening via a private statem that gives zero shits about your rights.

Okay, so now how do you stop trolls like that one congreesman from claiming to be transgender and then demanding that people who push back be banned?

That would be hilarious.

Well I have my friday night plans now!

Trump please call yourself transgender and that he identifies as my president so now everyone on twitter must call him my president.

I have never realized how much I wanted this until now.

Easy, ban everyone involved, and send cops to arrest them. No-one was contributing to society in any way, so nothing of value will be lost.

Oi you got a loicense for that gender identity?

Hello is this the Internet Police? Yes that dude with anime profile called me a girl but I have a penis :(

I'm generally curious. Not that Twitter, as a platform, has any requirement of not just banning the fuck out of whomever but how does one definitively "demonstrate" they now identify as x for the purposes of saying this individual is now misidentifying me, please ban them? Emojis in the profile description?

Could twitter turn even more cancer-y somehow?

give everyone a blue check mark?

take away all the checkmarks and profile pics, make everyone an egg. Eggs don't have gender.

They have one but you don't know it until you look inside.

Shrödinger's egg.

I don't get those 1000 different Twitter rules. What are they even doing or changing? Twitter is one of the most disgusting communities because hate and attacks are often liked/hearted. So how have any of these rules changed anything? If the users don't like you they are going to attack you full on anyhow. Fix the main problem!

They are 100% virtue signalling. You think their is some practical problem they are trying to solve with this?

Not saying he should be banned. But when Trump calls people names isn't that against their rules? Pocahontas? Or fat? Or disgusting or whatever else he calls people? If he can do that then why can't I?

Because banning Trump would cause a fucking massive shitstorm. Banning you has no impact. On anyone. Even you.

If you threat people differently based on their status in real life your whole platform is a joke.

Unironically we live in a society

BOTTOM TEXT

You think they dont know their platform is a joke?

No shit, they don't care about not being a joke, they care about making money.

Yeah, not banning the fucking US president means their platform is a joke 😂😂

Nah, banning me means their platform is a joke. I don't care about him. But also, I'm not banned yet. I just will be at some point once I break some weird rule.

Real life has an inherent bias.

It would generate great drama, though.

Elected world leaders

Then this doesn't count Obama or Elon Musk?

'world leaders' lmao they could have just said trump

harmful stereotypes about a protected group.

What are all these people going to do post-mayocide when there's no wypipo to be "protected" from?

I used to like terfs but they are insane.

Like, even crazier than regular feminists. They are so trigger happy and obessesed with wymynhood that they litterally take ANYTHING as a perceived slight.

There was a thread on r/gendercritical that said something along the lines "Culture is more focused on the male orgasm why that's our fault" or some shit like that, I said "Well yeah, the male orgasm is needed for the continued existence of the human race, it's not weird that culture would consider it more important", and they banned me for mansplaining orgasms to women.

lmao @ you being surprised that radical bra-burners don't want to hear your lukewarm evo-psych takes on why men are more specialer

The only explanation for people not wanting to listen to him is if they are literally insane.

I guess in the mind of crazy terfs anything that doesen't immediately elevate women to gods is hate speech.

How is it a lukewarm evo-psych take on why men are more specialier?

It's offering a possible explenation for the question posed.

Though, I guess in the mind of crazy terfs anything that doesen't immediately elevate women to gods is hate speech.

I got banned for saying men and women are different lol

That's hate speech, terfs shouldn't be subjected to your mansplaining.

I'm unironically okay with this. It'll keep these people on their safe space

Any man who feels ashamed of his cock can alleviate the feeling significantly by going at it with cheese grater. Problem solved.

So anyone got the gc thread?

trump is a she, prove me wrong

Unless they are using this rule lile a sucker punch, instantly banning someone for getting the wrong gender of someone the first time, I don't see the problem.

It used to be grammatically incorrect, but I've been using "they" to refer to singular persons my whole life. Frankly I'm glad the grammar police are off, my fucking, ass now that it's magically politically correct according to a whole new set of nazi pig fucks.

Just call everyone "they" and lay back, let cruise control take care of shit. It's actually easier this way.

As far as giving a shit what some person on twitter wants to be called, that's just crazy. It's even slightly crazier than the person who thinks they aren't a "him" or "her". Fighting with crazy people like there's a point to it is just as crazy.

"Never stick your dick in crazy," just keep it in mind, and be lazy and refer to everybody as they/them/their, and uh, voila. Instant "safe"/"ally" status.

It's Twitter. It's not like you know these people personally so just keep your nose out of their asshole and things should be fine.

You took a lot of time to say nothing

excuse to ban anyone we dont like

ftfy

My pronouns change hourly. Ready the banhammers

Should I book a ride home for some of you guys? http://imgur.com/mt0Bsrv.jpg

Lot of hate goin' on here.

I have a twitter account I never use, signed up like 3 years ago, never tweeted, can't recall log on but get email updates.

Of course the latest one was something about "42 stories of trans and genderfluid people".

From orbit...

Yes, twitter is banning transphobes. And that's a good thing!
