Hello.

You are receiving this message because you posted in defense of Donald Trump. I no longer provide individual responses on this matter. It has been my experience that Trump supporters are universally incapable of accepting verifiable truths about him and, by extension, themselves, thus rendering discussion pointless and, therefore, a waste of time.

I wish you all the best in your ongoing battle with reality.

Yours respectfully, a logical person.

Ok, so I'm still not grokking the controversy. Is it that Magnus is being an ass by pushing for the tie-breaker rounds just because he is better at them? Or rather that he doubted that he could win with his advantageous position and felt that he should push for the tie-breaker, in which he would have a better advantage and thus a more likely chance of winning? I can't tell if people are pissed at him for being arrogant or disappointed that he did not finish out the game that he could have won.

Nah, he decided to draw when he was winning, there was little to no chance of Caruana winning that game (which is why he accepted the draw). It is, however, bad sportsmanship.

But Carlsen said he saw no way to break through Caruana's defense, and these boys are playing at such a high level that if he says that we simply have to take his word for it, just because stockfish says the game is winning doesn't mean it's winning in the hands of a human.

Ok, that's what I figured. Carlsen saw something that nobody else did but it's still considered bad sportsmanship. Makes more sense now, thanks.

Is there a douchier pose than the chin-stroker? That's some real-life Brian Griffin shit right there.
