Surprisingly a bunch of women hate the idea of maids even if you can afford them, and I have had to deal with friction from this before. I can do everything for myself, I just choose to spend my money to avoid tasks I don't enjoy, like eating out instead of cooking.
Its some combination of marxist thought/puritan ethics about the sinfulness of leisure, combined with a neurotic need to control what goes in in their homes.
I wonder why people think relationships are ever going to be equal, or even actually work properly when they're equal. That's not how people work at all.
I can do that too. Most women aren't smart enough or strong enough to be the primary bread winner in a relationship so they resign to doing remedial chores in hopes of being taken care of.
That's where this intersects with the bosy positivity posts. These women are the bottom of the stack constantly failing to shop up so they have to settle for rejected men.
There are a ton of editorials/blogposts by both men and women who admit to being subpar as fuck(directly and indirectly) and then bitch about their available partners being mediocre as fuck.
There's also the phenomenon of people looking for needles in a haystack where they try to find their trad wife/stable husband in bars and clubs and then trash the people who go there for not meeting their requirements.
Imagine getting worked up about this. Are we doomed as a species are doomed to reenact a bob hope tier "the thing about men and women" act in perpetuity?
She's not referring to anyone. She's just repeating a sentiment she heard and noticed a lot of painfully boring people agreed with.
