Those of you who are not radical centrists: why not?

1  2018-11-28 by flaaato

Though I don't post much, I've lurked on /r/drama for a long time (I think about a year and a half. Yes I am a loser). I won't name anyone, but there are quite a few people that I recognize from back then who weren't radical centrists then and still aren't.

Before I started coming here, I used to be a moderate Republican about two years ago. Before then, I was a moderate Obama supporter. Now, having seen the dumbassery that both the left and the right have been offering endlessly, both from this sub and other places, I just can't fathom how anyone who's lived through a couple American election cycles can feel anything but utter disillusionment at all of the political sides.

Why are you still not a radical centrist? Do you still believe that the side you support is still somewhat better, even if it is almost as silly as the one you oppose? As in, the lesser of two evils?

I can take a 9-inch dildo up my butt, because I'm an adult and I solve my own problems
