A book club is not a "safe space" if they kick someone out who wants to talk about movies all the time. A commie gathering is not a "safe space" if they kick someone out that believes commies are dumbdumbs.
I get that it's a stupid term, because the meaning could apply to everything everywhere. But the idea is suppression of speech in publicly shared places, not within some autistic political club.
Which is why they HAVE to ban every conservative who doesnt like Trump or regurgitate the latest conspiracy theory from www.christianlifenewsfortrunp.com
"Pros" are ok but pointing out" cons" are a big no no? Lol, that's exactly what a safe space is. Where you KNOW that nothing will challenge your currently held views. Also, a circlejerk too.
According to the admin lax enforcement yes its kind of why we can't ping or directly engage.
Brigading is also a term for when people disagree see every local location sub filled with tankies who cry about brigading when their safe space says right wing ideas.
Tbh we need a class action lawsuit. For bias. For silencing the largest righteing sub on the site.
For manipulating elections by doing so.
For all of it
And if it doesnt work we need legislation
because a handful of CEOs in Silicon Valley should not have the entire country in the palm of their hands. They should not literally be able to choose the president and Congress simply by ordering their subordinates to censor people people
if you had to advocate against the legislation preventing censorship and you are directly supporting the idea that a few companies in Silicon Valley can directly influence the election more than Russia could ever dream of.
And no. You using a different site like gab isn't going to prevent that
And before someone calls me a concern troll: opposing silicon valley is the MOST conservative thing u can do (aside from the fact liberals support silicon valley) the entire idea of conservatism is that a huge amount of power should not be in the hands of a small number of people. Got big is bad. Some people have gotten that confused and taking it to only me and government. But it never has. The whole idea is that lots of power in the hands of a small number of people is bad no matter WHO they are. It doesn't matter whether they are a government official or private company. The results are the same and therefore the opposition should be the same
The problem is that historically lots of power has been concentrated in government hands. There hasn't really been much threat from Corporations before. so it was always made sense that people would oppose the government. But that changes. X Change. Now we have corporations that are as big as if not bigger than many governments. Let's pan larger areas in any government. They have no borders. They have no rules and laws they have to abide by. And they have more money than some countries.

"Internalized misogynist" and "prude" are the new slurs for women with standards and boundaries. Don't let newspeak fool you. ;)

Reddit:
Obvious mass brigading => OK, it's fine.
Good faith usage of pings => NONONONONONO.

r/conservative is one YUGE safe space and constantly labels "wrong think" comments as brigades, lol.
1 RyuunDragon 2018-11-30
Wow just like how circlebroke2 and shitredditsays does the same
It's almost as if horseshoe theory exists
1 Ed_ButteredToast 2018-11-30
Haven't browsed CB2 or SRS so i don't know if that's a thing.
The horseshoe theory applies to how "rightoids" label "libtards" safe space occupying snowflakes yet ban anyone for wrong think in their subs.
Keep up, sweaty!

There’s a difference between trolling arguments like “communism kills” and fighting objective facts like “Drumpf is a complete failure.”

Yeah but that's long past, roids used the insults to the point of cringe while loids tried and failed to 'reclaim' them.
'Snowflake' used to mean someone was trying too hard to be unique, like a snowflake, now it just means someone is mad.
