It's interesting how much hate a guy like Michael Bay has to take, especially since I can't see a great difference quality-wise between the Transformers-franchise and, say, a movie like The Avengers when it comes to comic relief, cardboard cut-out characters, lame one-liners and unnatural dialogue, confusing plot-points, mind-numbing, overlong, explosive action scenes, ass-pulley explanations, emotionless storytelling, choppily directed action sequences and women in skintight pants.
Better superhero films are Tim Burton's Batman films, Sam Raimi's first two Spider-Man films, and half the X-Men films.
The difference quality wise between the Transformers-Franchise and the Avengers?

If you find yourself comparing politics to sex you should neck yourself, because you're clearly doing both wrong.

Everything by Micheal Bay has a really creepy underage girl sequence. Because any guy who carries around a card like that in his wallet is the kind of guy you want seeing your daughter.
