The funny thing is that I did nkt know confidence existed until hitting 17 and reading some pop-psychology books. Now I am over self-aware and this makes me want suicide, nothing is as before
You're 17 in school, literally everyone around is faking it. Most don't even know that they are faking it. Not to downplay your pop psy book, but young adults tend to find a nugget of information, whether it be in a psych book, philosophy lecture, church, sociology video, and try to wedge it into every aspect of their life without looking at the whole picture and freak put because it wasn't the magic pill answer they hoped for.
Just relax, find time for a regular group activity, and get yourself a creative outlet that channels that anxiety, that isn't fortnite or any video game.
