I’m always amazed how few people know about Gamergate. It’s not only the key to understanding so many violent harassment campaigns going on today, it’s lots of the same people angry about the same stuff using the same playbook.

Look, kid. The way to milk a lolcow is to engage with them on their terms. I'm not defending the downvotes. Frankly, I think that's abhorrent behavior on the part of drama users. But if you think commenting "It's over for incels" or "ew, why would you want government-issued gussy" would foster a more entertaining AMA, I'd argue that you're the one who needs to delete their account.
