DnD group drama is one of my favorite drama flavors. I used to participate in a board game/ttrpg group myself. The types of spergs these things attract are legendary.
My favorite was the brother in law of the group's de facto leader (he owned all the games). He wouldn't keep track of his character's abilities, and so would pause the rp to literally read his character sheet for the nth time that night, only to look up and say that he couldn't do anything.
Later on I learned that he had molested some underaged girl before he married my friend's sister. She found out when she checked out the sex offender registry and saw her own address on it.
Moving into a dark Room i described as being pitch Black i got an X card from X. i again asked for clarification and he said "Pitch Black" and i was really getting confused. I asked for further clarification "You mean the darkness?" he said "No, stop calling darkness 'black'" and i agreed and made a mental note that perhaps i was being racially prejudiced in a way i never questioned and tried to watch myself.
