This might come as a shock to you, but there are openly gay kids in middle schools now. That's the age at which puberty starts.

As far as middle school kids are concerned, gay = boy who likes boys or girl who likes girls.

The existence of openly gay kids in middle school is so well-known at this point that one of the main characters in the most current popular Disney Channel show is a gay middle school boy.

You should also read up on what a gay straight-alliance is and why it is helpful for kids.

Firstly, orientation has nothing to do with masculinity or femininity. Most gay boys/men are masculine and most gay girls/women are feminine.

Secondly, GSAs are voluntary student clubs. No student is compelled to join any club.

Lbgt includes all sorts of gender stuff. Basically, I'd rather my kid hit karate class and just not attack gay people than join a formal group. I think itd be easy to join, but could lead to all sorts of extra stuff I might not want going on at home. Cause at some point, the kids are gonna ask what they even aligned themselves with.
