Blizzard Decided Killing One of Its Game is Not Good Enough

For those who have not heard of Blizzard's recent fiasco regarding Diablo, let me fill you in quickly.
Diablo was a game released in 1996 by Blizzard Entertainment as its first entry into the Action RPG genre. It was not a good game by any standard, but it was solid and the support for online multiplayer made it a success. Blizzard released a sequel 4 years later and made tons of money with Diablo 2, only to blew it away with Diablo 3 12 years later. Nevertheless, the franchise still has a loyal following, as its formula is tried and true, and the game has improved over the years.
Last month, Blizzard announced a new Diablo game, only that it is targeted towards the Chinese market and available only as a phone game. This obviously has made a lot of Western players mad, for they correctly see it as a betrayal on Blizzard's part. Surprisingly (not for me), Chinese players also did not take the news well because the company developing the mobile Diablo game, NetEase, has a horrible reputation in the Chinese gaming world for their shoddy quality.
With the rumors of Activision (parent company of Blizzard) encroaching in and spreading influence within the company, recently botched WoW expansion, and the tone-deaf announcement for the Diablo game, things are not looking well for Blizzard.
Comes December 13th, Blizzard announced that it is essentially pulling plugs from its MOBA game, and cancelling the pro-scene. This game came at no surprise even to its fans, since it was never making any money, but another draw for this game is the fan-service aspect, as it features beloved characters from Blizzard's games.

I did not say it was bad, but it was nothing like the Best Game In Universe, commonly known as Warcraft 2.

Imagine if valve went under and everyone lost their game library, achievements and friends lists. That is the issue with these games: they arent forever lasting.

By 90's standards it was fantastic. You have not lived until you hunt down people server by server and cloning your items to cheat people.

My apologies, I was young and my father did not permit installing internet access in the house.
