how much do you think this phone cost, based on the the pixel density of this photo? what process did you use to arrive at that estimate?
maybe if you spent a bit more time trying to find out the truth or reading the work of those who do, you'd know that a significant proportion of homeless people retain now-expensive possessions from when they were housed, but which they could no longer afford to buy or replace.
do you think 421 is a small sample size for a scientific study? do you have any knowledge of sampling theory or statistics? what do you think is the expected margin of error for a population of 325m and a sample size of 421?
edit: actually, let me answer that last part for you. with a confidence level of 90% (very common), 423 gives a margin of error of about 4% as a representation of the entire population of the United States! wow! science is magic! we should distrust and ignore it because we hate poor people and love our bosses so much
