As a disabled plus sized queer woman of color I can confirm what you’re saying. I get bombarded by aggressive patriarchy and white supremacy every day and it’s so frustrating to have to deal with male feminists (like the guy pictured above) in the few safe spaces provided for me. I feel I can’t ever be safe and have to always be fearful and vigilant just to survive. After a hard day of cat calling and sexual objectification from aggressive men with lean muscular bodies, I look forward to relaxing in one of my safe spaces. But I can’t relax because some whimpish male feminist like this guy starts coming on to me. I’m so tired of doing the emotional labour of not paying attention to men I’m not attracted to. Why does society hate strong and brave feminist women like me? Why aren’t strong women provided with an environment where we won’t feel terrified all the time about everything?
Yeah... I'd rather not have my taxes go towards supporting mayos like this. Hispanics tend to take care of their own while mayos for some reason hate their parents from 16-36.
